After School Club
This will have a new name from Autumn 2011.
The After School Club is run by Pulse in co-operation with St. James´ Church. It is on every Friday in term time from 3.45-5pm in St. James´ church. It is for children in years 5 and 6, and primarily focuses on children from St. James´ Junior, Victoria Junior and Greengate Junior schools (Note: this is from Autumn, and we have not been in contact with all the schools about this yet). However, we welcome children from other areas and schools as well.
At the after school club, we play games, do sporting activities and crafts. We do have a short “God-slot” as well, normally a short reading from the Bible, a song and a prayer. If there is any interest for it, it is possible to get some homework help as well.
