Who Are We?

Pulse is a Youth Church for the whole town of Barrow-in-Furness, and is a part of the Church of England.  Pulse started up as Barrow Deanery Youth Project in September 2009 when Norwegian youth workers Ingvild and Roar Hallesby Evjedal came to Barrow through a partnership agreement between Carlisle Diocese and The Norwegian Mission Society.

Pulse is run through various activities such as Cell groups, the dramatic arts group The Flare and outreach with The Bus.  We also arrange special events like An evening in the light - an alternative to Halloween and invite national organisations like New Generation Music and Mission to Barrow.  We also run a youth service, The Gathering, organised through different formats.
