What We Believe

We believe in God, the Father, who created everything around us from the tiniest bacteria to the universe itself. We believe that mankind is created in God's own image, and therefore hasa special place in God´s heart, and that God loves every human being on earth.  However, we humans have chosen to turn our backs on God, something that has aggrieved him greatly, as we created a deep void between ourselves and God that we are unable to fill.  But even though we have said "no" to him, God has not given up on us.

We believe in God, the Son, who became human in the man Jesus Christ.  We believe that Jesus is the only way to God, and that he filled the void between us and God by taking on himself everything mankind has done wrong through history.  He did this by dying on a cross.  But three days later, he was resurrected; we believe he lives today, and that we, through faith in him, will have eternal life with God.

We believe in God, the Holy Spirit, who guides us, both as individuals, and as a community in Church.  We believe that the Spirit shows us who the Father and the Son are, and that he shows us what God´s will is.

We believe that the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit is one God in three persons, and that God has revealed who He is, and what His will is in a special way through his word, the Bible.
